Energy Healing

I am trained in intuitive scanning, energy healing, spiritual counseling, creating personalized, guided healing meditations, and deep, soul connection. To the delight of my clients, I often receive messages from loved ones in Spirit during a private healing session. I am also a Remote/Distant Energy Healer using Zoom for private sessions or a photograph, name, and location for a client, loved one or pet.

Our bodies contain various forms of “energy systems” that interface with one another. Dr. Synthia Andrews, ND, in her book The Path of Energy, describes how the aura, the chakras and the meridians act and interact within the human body. “Energy is dynamic and interactive. It flows through you and along precise pathways (meridians), is gathered and transformed in identifiable centers (chakras) and radiates through your energy field (aura)…How you manage your energy flow reflects the quality of your being, and the quality of your being attracts your life. Activating these energy flows can change your life (for the better).”

What is energy? Energy is defined by the Cambridge Dictionary as “the power and ability to be physically and mentally active.” I would add to this definition, “Energy is the power and ability to be physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually active.” When we are in good health in all these ways, our energy is readily accessible to us and can easily flow through us to be fully utilized in whatever creative endeavor we may choose to pursue. If it is blocked by physical, mental, emotional, and/or spiritual illness or distress, our ability to engage life to our fullest potential can be greatly constrained. The longer that we are constrained in one of these energetic aspects, the greater the potential for the other ones to become constrained in a snowball-like effect, creating imbalances throughout all of them. 

As an Energy Healer, I am trained to identify disruptions in the flow of energy in both people and animals. My very sensitive hands can feel those blockages/disruptions inside of my clients’ energy systems, bodies, and souls. I then channel energetic healing through my body from the Divine Spirit through my heart and hands and then into my clients to help open these blockages, to re-establish a healthy balance and flow of energy throughout their bodies and create a healing template to help the body to learn how to maintain these healing changes. Compassionate Energy Healing is a thoughtful process of the healer carefully modulating energetic changes that enable a client to process these changes at their own pace in an organic and gradual manner.

My mentor, Elizabeth K. Stratton, M.S., emphasized that a healer’s ultimate goal is to teach our clients to do learn how to channel healing for themselves. In this way, more and more people can find healing and peace within themselves and by their example, help others to do the same. She created guided meditations to empower her clients to do just that in her private and group sessions, and in her book, Seeds of Light. In hopes of healing as many people as possible, I follow in her mindful footsteps by creating guided healing meditations for each of my energy healing clients and for the students in my Zoom meditation classes. When the pandemic eases up, I plan to be teaching guided meditations out of a local community center as well.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • This depends on how sensitive you are to Energy Healing. Most people feel themselves physically and mentally relaxing more and more deeply as the session progresses. Some people are able to feel the energy moving through their bodies as a loving, comforting warmth or gentle vibration.

    What time of day should I book a session? What will I feel like afterward?

    Pick a time of day when you will have time after the session to rest quietly and allow the healing to soak into your system. Some clients feel energized by a healing, some feel very sleepy and blissful, and some feel different from session to session. It’s best to allow the time to rest, especially after the first session. Please make sure to drink plenty of water after the session to hydrate your body.

  • You will want to have had something to eat or drink and have used the bathroom prior to your session. Caffeine should be avoided an hour or so prior to your session.

    Wear loose, comfortable clothing that does not have any zippers or metal on it. Metal retains energy and in an Energy Healing session, this would be counterproductive for you.

    Cozy stretch or drawstring waistbands on slacks and a comfy, loose top like a sweatsuit is ideal.

    Choose a quiet room that has a sofa, a bed, or a thick yoga mat that you may lay completely flat and comfortably upon. and where you won’t be disturbed for an hour or two. You might like to have a pillow, a blanket or throw, and a rolled-up towel to place under your knees.

    You will also need a surface or stand to prop your chosen device on that allows me a full view of at least one side of your entire body from head to toes. Make sure to test out the view ahead of time as you would not want to waste your precious, session time trying to work it out.

  • Any device that can use either Zoom, Apple’s FaceTime or can use a link to FaceTime. One that will give me a full view of the side of your body and that you have set up and tested ahead of your session.

    Zoom is best as I have an account there. I will record your session and email it to you to keep and refer to.

    FaceTime – If you do not have an Apple iPhone, you will need to check your device manual or Google/Safari/ Etc. ahead of time to let me know if your device accepts FaceTime links. If it does, I will create a link just before our session and text it to you. If not, we will need to use Zoom. If you have an iPhone, I will call you at the time of our session.

  • Zoom – I will email you from Evolving Spirit LLC with your Zoom Room link ahead of your session. It’s best to look for this a day or two in advance of your session and to mark or save it for your use. Searching for it right before your session will eat into your precious session time. Please look in your spam folder if you have any trouble finding it. Contact me if you cannot find it and I will resend it to you.

    FaceTime – I will call you at the time of your session and we will begin. I am only able to record the meditation for sessions on Facetime. If you find a way to record the entire session for yourself, feel free to do so and please let me know.

  • If you are booking for the first time, please mail a check paid in full along with your intake forms to hold your appointment. I will review your information and contact you with my availability.

    For follow-up appointments, you may send your payment in advance of your session either through PayPal or with a check.
